More Reliable Historical Prices

Behind-the-scenes reliability fix for our backtesting tools:

  • DCA Calculator and What If Calculator now pull deep historical prices from a more reliable free market-data source, so backtests for dates over a year old keep working.
  • Fixed a data-accuracy issue where a very old date (e.g. Bitcoin in 2013) could occasionally show a price from a later year instead of the actual historical price on that date.

Smarter Search & Mining Data Accuracy

A few improvements to make CryptoCalk faster and more accurate:

  • Search now jumps straight to results — start typing a calculator name and matching tools scroll into view instantly, no more scrolling to find them.
  • Kaspa (KAS) mining reward corrected to its current per-block emission for accurate GPU mining estimates.
  • Flux (FLUX) removed from the GPU mining calculator — Flux moved to a node-based consensus in late 2025 and is no longer GPU-mineable.
  • UK capital gains note refreshed for the 2026/27 tax year.

2026 Tax Rates & Mining Rewards Refreshed

We re-verified and updated the regulatory data behind the tax, inheritance, and mining calculators for 2026:

  • France flat tax (PFU) 30% → 31.4% and Italy crypto tax 26% → 33% (2026 budget laws)
  • US 2026 federal brackets refreshed; federal estate exemption raised to $15M (One Big Beautiful Bill)
  • Germany & Netherlands 2026 thresholds; Canada stays at 50% inclusion (the proposed 66.67% increase was cancelled)
  • Brazil reverted to progressive 15–22.5% (the 17.5% flat rate was rejected); South Korea deduction corrected to ₩2.5M; UK higher-rate CGT 24%
  • Mining block rewards refreshed after recent halvings — Zcash, Ravencoin, Ergo, Ethereum Classic, Flux, Kaspa, Dash
